The Fall of Man
When God created mankind, He did so in His image and likeness. He then placed man in the garden of Eden. Man had everything he needed and he could enjoy intimate fellowship with God. Man fell into the sin of disobedience and was displaced from the garden. Since then, the human race lost fellowship with the Creator. Sin entered into the human race because of one man’s disobedience but God continued to seek to restore us back to Himself.
God’s Redemptive Plan
The Scripture declares “can a woman forget her nursing child and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands, your walls are continually before me” (Isaiah 49:15-16). It’s interesting to note that God did not forget about man, and He provided a way to deliver and restore him back to his original position. “For God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
Decision For Eternal Life
Friends, we don’t have to hide in our sin, guilt and shame anymore. All we have to do is to accept and believe in the perfect sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. He said “Come unto me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. You don’t have to impress Him with anything because He loves you just the way you are.
Would you consider receiving Jesus Christ into your life today? Please say this prayer with me: “Today I accept your work on the cross and I ask You to forgive me of my sin. I accept You as my Lord and personal Savior. I am now born again. Amen.” If you’ve prayed this prayer, know that you have just been saved and God will keep you in His perfect peace.
