divine healing

Developments in science and technology over the last few decades has had a positive impact on health, with recovery and management of various sickness that plague the human race. However, as impelling as medicine and its impacts are, medicine has limitations and is incapable of curing all diseases. What do you do when you are faced with a health condition or a chronic disease that has no answer or cure?

David said in Psalms 121:1-2 “I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence comes my help. My help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth.” David needed help to overcome his adversaries and he was aware that God was His source of strength.

Similarly, it’s important that you refocus your mind from your situation, and rely on the creative power of Jesus Christ. Remember that you are His creature (Gen 1:26), created in His image. The Creator knows how to fix any flaw in His creation simply because He created it. Look at this Scripture in Jeremiah 32:27 – “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?” It really isn’t hard for the Lord to restore you because He knows your name, (Isaiah 43:1), the configuration of every cell and organ (size, type, shape, function) in your body, (Psalm 139:13) and even the numbers of your hair strands doesn’t elude Him! (Luke 12:7)

God has established His covenant with us through the blood of Jesus Christ that our sins will be forgiven and our sicknesses will be healed. Isaiah 53:4-5 “Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquity. Surely he bore our sorrows and by His stripes we are healed.” He fulfilled this covenant by laying Himself down as the perfect sacrifice for our sins, our failures, and our sicknesses. Accept that your healing that has been paid for in full at the Cross.

God is committed to fulfilling His covenant of healing with us but we must reach out to him by faith. Hebrews 11:6 says but without faith it is impossible to please God… Faith is not limited to that which can be seen; it is a revelation and application of the Word of God.

First, acknowledge God as your Creator. Secondly, envision Him as the perfect sacrifice for your sins and sicknesses. Third, ask in faith for your healing and declare ‘In Jesus’ name, I’m healed!’ You will be amazed to see the power of God at work in your life. Some of you will be healed instantly. For others, you may need to continually meditate on God’s truth and speak healing scriptures over your life daily, so that your healing will be fully manifested.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He is not a respecter of persons (Acts 10:34); remember that God will honor your faith regardless of who you are. What he does for one individual, He can do for all. Call upon His name today; He will hear and respond to your heart’s cry because He loves you.
